I think that had to do with the high-resolution textures that some people had installed. From what I understand it was a client side problem, it happened on any server - not just qoou, and people who removed the textures no longer had any problems with this.

You can fix the server so that this doesnt happen too.

That's useful! Thanx Denial! You know i am a complete noob when it comes to pc's!

There is a patch you can run to "Fix" the textures or if you install the s3tc textures on the server I 've heard that fixed it. I'd talk to anti.

Well obviously you can just uninstall ut and reinstall it without the 2nd cd. OR you can use http://members.shaw.ca/kalanh/s3fix.exe just download and run it in your textures folder (YMMV)

well i got the whole idea of this tournament now. well do 4 matches with each game mode (TDM,AS,CTF,DOM(maybe)) once w/ regular weapons, and once w/ yep u guessed it....INSTAGIB!!!

i vote CO 2 make a list of all maps well play on.

and hopefully u guys dint get me wrong.....that practice session i was talkin bout...ya....thats for MY TEAM ONLY (TEAM 3). cuz i noticed some ppl were gettin fired up bout it.

i dont c why we need a pug bot since we could have the others just spec (SK seems good enuff at it sometimes).

basically 4 matches per game mode (not counting ig) so its not 2 complex.

SIMPLE=CO DONT CHOOSE THOSE MAPS!!! (i.e. mazon, siege)

I think those slackers should just have to reinstall UT.



Well if I were picking the maps I'd probably choose these for assault:

Desertstorm
Ballistic
Riverbed AL
Bridge

I really dont play enough CTF or DM to make good decisions, but I'd stick with the classic maps. (Deck 16, Face, etc...)

i like all CTF maps except FACE and all versions of FACE basically because i REALLY hate all maps who depend of a SNIPER weapon.

The times you could see me using the sniper is when its the only weapon i have with ammo, and in some cases i prefer suicide myself and pick new weapons.

any times of when teams kick off, (might have to be afk between 7pm -8pm GMT ) apart from that hour , im fine for rest of it.
