wow damn spam bots!!
I block 99% of spam bots, but all it takes is that 1% to ruin it. We basically have to choose between forcing people to get verified before they can post, and allowing some bots to get through. Also, there are thousands of actual people getting paid $1/hr to solve forum signups, so it's not just "bots" and you can suck it smant from 3 years ago for bringing my intelligence into this. It's like stopping a horde of constant zombie spambots, and I'm not gonna make a full time job out of cleaning them. Time to re-disable signups and then wait for you to bitch at me for doing that too.
