When I boot up my PC the ***only*** thing that loads is my wallpaper. The mouse is completely locked in this phase (no right click). In order to gain access to my files I have to: ctrl+alt+del>File>New Task> type "explorer" and then I get a window that displays my desktop items or any other folder on my harddrive.
I've been told that it was probably a virus that changed the configuration settings for windows. I cleared all the viruses and now my main priority is learning how to fix it/possibly do it again in the future (it's kinda cool
) Anyone have any books or websites to recommend so that I might learn how to mess with windows configurations?
