Closure of wharthog's pigpen

Hi all I used to play on Wharthog's pigpen.

It was the wikkidest CTF server, with lots of awesome custom weapons (exploding rifle, wave-flak, jets, copters + slv) and crazy maps: infinityLego, tunnels, bridges, eagles, takeTheirFlak, stupidCola, rocketChurch, zynMatrixTubes etc. There were occasionally a couple of monsters thrown in too.

But the server has closed down. And I find I really miss that virtual world where we used to meet and blow each other up.

Were any of you guys lucky enough to play there? Are there any servers still hosting such crazy mods? Is there such a strong modding community in UT2k3/4?

I used to enjoy exploring all the different battlefields people had made. But with the servers closing now, where can we go to find such diverse environments?

I once went on a bughunt, and I went surfing. On a bunny track one time I jumped up into the bottom of a suspended pool of water.

If S_K added some crazy mods to the server, and my AS maps it'd rock.

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to get the actual files from there.

Oh am I a member of the [qoou] clan now? I think it's a great idea, a clan for n00bs.

But maybe all the modders are working on other games now.
