Where to go.

Post by bbaldwin » Tue Jun 14, 2005 5:28 pm

OK, I'm really bored with this town. I'm 17. Quit my job. Trashed my car. Where should I go? I go either to a huge city or some little border town somewhere. HELP ME. Damn, and where would I stay? And I am gonna need jobs? OMG.`

Here's a tip based on my experience. DON'T COME TO ILLINOIS.....unless you have tons of money. There is absolutely nothing to do here unless have cash to shell out each and every night. No one I know ever likes to just sit back and chill out.

And besides, in my city, terrible jobs lie in wait for teenagers :chased::chased::chased:

I'd jump around, crashing at friends or relatives (just don't overstay your welcome  ) until you find somewhere you like.

Either that or you can start an internet business like the kind late night infomercials keep telling me to do :D .

texas has the lowest living expenses than any state in the union so you get more stuff for your buck here

and taxes are lower too as well as gas prices ( i just paid $1.62 / gallon for premium grade)

if you wanted to start a business here then getting a loan is easy cuz theres a lot of rich banking institutions willing to dish out the cash

if you were to come here, i suggest cities like houston or dallas or san antonio or austin cuz there are a lot of jobs available if you look

You guys should all move to California. Houses arent at all overpriced, gas costs a mere $2.50, it's the only state that has beaches, and you have to build walls and moats around your house to keep all the celebrities out. :D

The big one was all the way up in northern cali... way too far for us to feel down here. They issued a tsunami warning all the way down here though. :D

I also felt this one about 20 minutes ago - just barely. It was a 5.3... looks like it was closer to Vodka than it was to me. ;)

How much damage would a 5.3 actually do? Would it collapse houses or just knock a few things off shelves?

And to keep the topic on track for LD.........bbaldwin, don't go to California or you'll be quaked to death! :zombie: :zombie: :zombie:

All the way down here, the earthquake intensity from yesterday was about a 2 or 3. ;)

You think earthquakesw scare me? You forget, I am in Alaska. We get earthquakes here daily, uausally between 4-7. I'm used to em.

I've decided to take some summer school classes up here and try to get as far along into high school as I can.

I am interested in Phily. Never been that far out east. I will get back to this later after talking to friends and family about it.

You should move to Seattle. 2 hour drive north and you can smoke weed openly. ;)
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like “I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive…” And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming: “Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?”
