need keybinds ; Forgot how

can't find it on the site even though this is the only place I've ever found it.

What to keybind kill myself and hammerlaunch
maybe the one that evades fire ? don't know what it's called

The keybind to kill yourself is nothing special. It's just "suicide"

So mine looks like this:
NumPadPeriod=suicide

And if I want to say something along with it:
NumPadPeriod=Say SUICIDE!!! | suicide

I tried what I had before that worked .... ljump .... and that didnt work. So I used the one that was on the other site ...releasejump ... and that didn't work either

So I tried the whole line .... Command="onrelease jump",Alias=releasejump .... and that didn't work either

Some day it would be nice to be able to hammerjump properly

you might have a little more competition on your hands

This doesn't work for you?

Are you writing it out by hand? If so are you using the "|", which is next to the backspace, or are you trying to use a capital "i"?

(Or am I wrong and it doesn't matter what symbol you use?

Manual launching is much better and shows you actually have some skill.

I was great at manual launching when I started using the bind. The bind frees up your fingers and let's you multitask better. It does a lot more for you than reduce the "skill" needed.

Not really. Manual launching is only good for cheesing in CTF as it lets you go a bit farther when you hit it right. Other than that the bind is perfect for everything else and has no reflection on a players skill whatsoever.

I cut and pasted ljump form a button that worked and it would not work on any of my mouse buttons

Maybe it's my mouse driver ? My side bottons have never worked on anything. I don't know what they're for

But my wheel and button when you push on the wheel has always worked.

For 24,25, and 26, this is exactly how it looks on my user.ini. Parentheses and all

So just copy the entire following line and paste it after the equals sign for one of your aliases:

(Command="getweapon ImpactHammer | Button bFire | Fire | OnRelease Jump",Alias=ImpactJump)

My hammer jump is the CTRL button, so where it says Ctrl on the user.ini, it looks like:

Ctrl=ImpactJump
