New Rules For New Season: The Offensive Feel Is Back In NHL

Post by bbaldwin » Fri Jul 22, 2005 11:34 pm

Awesome new NHL rules include:

No more two line passes.
Shoot-outs after OT, so no more ties.
Goalie pads reduced by 11%.
Blue lines closer together to create bigger offesnive zone.
Special goalie puck-handling zone.
Zero tolerance for any interference, holding and obstruction.

Some people said they wouldn't be as interested in hockey any more, but I think these rule changes will draw all fans back due to the shear excitement, and maybe we'll catch some new ones.

lol, wonder if they would change the english ice hockey league rules now lol

dunno when the next season starts LMF<O,ive been to a few coventry blaze ice hockey games, lol i didnt see them win the 3 major titles lol .

but ice hockey is better imo, soon as u hit someone in the mush in football, u get like a red card straight off, a fine , and a 3 match ban, but soon as u have a fight in ice hockey, u get sent to the sin bin for 5 minutes. but caution, have too many fights then ur ejected out of game, then ur foked LMF<O damn...
