Right, but my point is that when bitchy decided to come back to qoou, nobody voted her back in and no admins let her in. She just came right back in, and that's how it should be. I don't see why things should be any different with bbaldwin.

how about a one on one? bitchy vs bbaldwin winner gets the tag of choice :)

AFAIK its just a fcsking game. Play it and don't bitch, if you feel admins are being unfair, join another server temporarily; if they're being harsh meanie abusers, please email our abuse department ( abuse(at)qoou.com ). ;)

Maybe I could work on deving a basic qoou site where we have a list of active members? I'm not even sure who is and who isn't in the clan aside from some regulars I see pretty often on our serv.

Peace

Our clan memberlist is here, and almost everyone (but not all) is active. Usually after a certain point of inactivity, we remove them from the list.

If you want to add to the site, anyone can edit the wiki at:
http://wiki.qoou.com

Or if you're really serious about building some unique part of the site that hasn't been covered yet, I can give you a subdomain.qoou.com like I did with de_fault and http://downloads.qoou.com.

I'd really like for us to work on creating one uniform look for the site though, as right now the front page, wiki, downloads section, (offline) gallery, and forums all have a different appearance.

OK. Sorry for all this mess guys. The message said ban, but I guess it just lasted till the end of the map, and since it took a while, I assumed it was perma.

I am not in this clan anymore, seeing as I don't play UT anymore. I pretty much quit playing AS when TGB.N went dead. I simply never stopped wearing the {noob} tag when I did play AS, since I never had a different AS tag to wear, and it makes me feel better to wear a tag.

I can just wear [FT] tag from now on.

Thanks for not PERMA-banning me. The length just confused me. If I play UT again I'll drop by, but I don't play more than once a month any more.

I understand why I was kicked. Bitchy and I go way back at TGB, and she knows I used to run my mouth alot. Sorry for the chaos, guys.

I don't know if you've checked that list but Baldwin isn't on it. It has never been clear to me that he was in the clan. He certainly doesn't seem to contribute anything.
In the past, we haven't required a poll for members who have left for a while and decided to com back. If that were the case, we would have needed to vote on bitchy:
I think that you are very correct on this... the same rules should apply to everyone. I'm more than happy to have my membership subject to a poll. Out of respect for the idea that all members should be treated equally and fairly, I will stop using the tag immediately until the issue is resolved.
Sorry, but by banning him you guys are turning a non-issue into an issue.
I booted him for the match, that's it; he wasn't banned. The reason I booted him was because when I suggested, in a reasonable way, that he should remove the tag and he immediately responded in a negative fashion. Again.. that's it.

It's not a non-issue because there have been a lot of people asking about his membership. It's an issue to them and somewhat to me as well.

I'd definitely be interested in developing a site CO, what I'd like to do is just develop it on my own host and then port it over. Get on MSN so I can verify some details about what your host will support! :p

Part of being an admin means that sometimes you won't be liked. The goal is to always make sure that the gameplay is the best it can be.
I hope I wasn't one of those people and if I was I'm sorry. I left right after that (had to go and was sick of lamers, I forget who)

Okay I think my opinion has changed a bit here. CO has a very legitimate point. It's not that Bitchy left qoou, I wasn't there and I don't care. I'm glad she's here. The fact is that Unreal Tournament is semi-dead. It's an old game (but in my opinion still the best) and if people come back we should welcome them with open arms. I'd rather not have "fair weather" players if it can be helped, if you're going to be a part of the clan it would be cool to let us know you're still alive once every month or two and maybe boot up the game and play with us. If we accepted people at one time I see no need to deny them in the future unless something has drastically changed and they're really underserving of wearing the clan tag.

Out of respect, I think people coming back should use the clan tag sparingly and make sure the current members of the clan understand that they were/are members of the clan and that they're cool with that. Leaving for an extended period of time is sort of like abandoning those who didn't, and although there are perfectly good reasons to do so and it's cool that people need to do other things, it's still respectful to say you were on a hiatus and that you are now back and playing for the time being.

Sorry for the long post, but at least this isn't :spam: :D

I have come to the conclusion that this clan, while having some of the same members and similar tag as my former clan, is not the same clan. Therefore, I am not a member. I was in {noob}, but after you all changed to {qoou} and moved the site, I never really followed. I never came to more than one match in your aid, and I barely ever played on the clan server.

I'll never forget the good old days of UT, but I have no problem with being asked not to wear the tag anymore.
