Beware when donating to the server

Post by Lemiwinks » Wed Feb 07, 2007 10:15 pm

I donated 20 bucks last month and when I got my credit card statement there was an extra 11.98$ charge from some company called digitaluniq on my card with the same new jersey phone number as the clanserver but a california address trying to rip me off :x
Now I have to go to my credit card company and get it reversed. It's a pain in the ass and it came from trying to donate to this server.

WTF !!! ?

The number was paypal  maybe it was a coincidence that it was the same day ? I thought that it was the clanserver company that the link goes to before it goes to paypal

Yeah, GameServers uses PayPal for clan pay, so I don't know how it would be possible for them to rip you off. Unless maybe you accidently sent two payments or something. :?
You and the Cap'n make it happen!

Well , it happened on the same day but I don't know if it was at the same time. It was paypal and I didn't authorize it. I called them and they reversed it. I think it's ok. It was probably a coincidence.
