My buddy rented DC vs. Mortal Kombat tonight so he invited me over to play. The best I can say is nice try. 2 out of 5. General boredom sets in after half an hour. The only character with any sense of life to him is the Joker. Everyone else was blah. The characters, or I should say lack of, was highly disappointing. I found myself so bored with the gameplay that I started to come up with lists of heroes that should have been featured during the match. After a half hour I was pleading with my friend to abandon the game and let us go back to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 which we eventually did. Dont waste 60 of your hard earned dollars on it...

i used to love mortal kombat...i even had all the finishers for all the fighters memorized

did dc screw up kombat or vice versa or both?

Im not exactly sure who screwed up. Dont get me wrong, Im sure that some of you may find this game to be a blast, but I really feel that they could have done so much more with it. Oh and it still uses fatalities!

But rent it first and play for a while before you drop 60 bucks on it.
