heh, I was just ghosting a bunch of maps today and I came across that gun cavern too, along with secret rooms in a few other maps

I think the maps use those kinda like sets for the little movies after you beat the level (like when the cannon dies at the end of overlord).

Try ghosting Bridge some time. It's got a whole nother bridge secretly built into it (probably the one that collapses in the end), but you can't go inside the bottom of it or anything. It's just weird cuz they look normal if you look at em from a certain angle, but otherwise they're way different.

That's exactly what they are used for CO... If you have the time (I'm too lazy) check out ocean floor. I think there might be a 'secret' area for the ending clip.

anyone of u guys tried building UT maps! i guess not. i tried my luck at that and only succeeded like making a room and connecting it to another one with all sorts of things like lava zones, water zones. i knew abt the secret gun cavern! as CO said this is the gun cavern that shows up after the assaulters destroys the gun!. same with the many maps posted by Denial! btw never seen the secret frigate room! gotta c that!
