World of Warcraft? It looks like it would be a fun game, but I really have no time to try it out.

World of Warcraft was wayyyyy fun for the first 2 months that I played it. After that, everything got boring very fast. Even though there was a number of places that I hadnt been to yet, I felt like I'd seen everything.

I think what really killed this game the most for me was how much the combat is lacking. Fighting in WoW requires zero skill. In fact, if you had skill it wouldnt help you at all. Yes, there are a few things you can do to get ahead, (like make good use of your mana and pick the right spells) but in the end, the winner of every battle will be the person/creature at the highest level and with the best gear.

All that WoW really has going for it is the nice looking scenery and the huge area to explore. Yeah, it's got some other neat stuff, but for me WoW really boils down to one big novelty game. Once get past that initial stuff, there isnt much. (unlike UT which I can play over and over and over and not get tired of ;))

At least that was my experience with WoW. I could have kept paying $15 a month to spend hours on end just clicking monsters so that I could level up (allowing me to click more monsters), or I could have spent that time playing UT (a game that actually requires skills and doesnt rank you by how much time you've wasted playing it) for free. Guess which one I chose. ;)
You and the Cap'n make it happen!

Guildwars is a lot better then wow, you get to max level (20) pretty fast and after that what matters is how you use your skills (you can only equip 8 and only change them in towns).

Obviously you didn't PVP, once you get to the level cap of 60 it depends which class you are, and how skillful you are.

Also you obviously never went raiding 8)

And megor GW sucks, all you get is about 50 lamers lagging you by going afk and annoyingly dancing just so they can get xfire time.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like “I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive…” And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming: “Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?”

Most men who run wear those short shorts. :P Just don't be sitting down on the grass with your legs open if you're not wearing underwear!! I remember one of the leaders at Day camp doing that when I was young. So attractive :P
