So... last night De_Fault IMed me to say...
{qoou} De_Fault: Hey Capt,
{qoou} De_Fault: For some reason I can't post inthe forums. I can only read some of the threads and have 50/50 chance of actually conecting to the forums. Dunno Why???
{qoou} De_Fault: There is no RSS button on the front page, and I can't get into forums by clicking a link on the front page.
{qoou} De_Fault: FIX IT !!! :p j/k this all started after you switched servers, for me it hasn't been right since.
{qoou} De_Fault: If you have a suggestion, you'll have to email me, I can't login or even check PM.
Is anyone else having problems with this? The forums are working perfectly for me, but maybe there's some problem that I overlooked. Or maybe it's an isolated connection problem, but I wouldn't think that that would last this long. I'll try some stuff out, but if anyone else is having these problems, IM me or something.

You and the Cap'n make it happen!

Yeah I knew the RSS feed was broken.
I'm going to contact my host about the connection issues.

I tried that other addy this morning and it didn't work. Or more to the point it acted the same. Tonight when I got home I tried the regular
http://www.qoou.com and all is good now. The RSS button is visible again, but like s_K said it clunks.
It was interesting last night, when I tried to log on to post, it errored out, but when I was able to get the page back a few minutes later it listed me as being online and registered. So my guess it was a Firefox Issue.
I tried with both Cookies and Java enabled and turned off and it was the same. So whatever you may have done today it seems to work now.

Well according my my host...
Its possible that the 15 minute outage yesterday morning might have been what sparked concern to your visitors, however these 15 minute outages would explain some of your visitors inability to access their site, but there is no reason whatsoever for a 50/50 like situation to occur unless you were doing maintence on the site or server itself.
I'd forgotten, there were two 15 minute power outages for facility upgrades yesterday between (6:00AM and 8:15AM EST) that could explain why you we're unable to visit the forums yesterday morning. Still it sounds like you guys were having the problem long before that. Let me know if you're still getting errors.

It's a Festivus Miracle !!!
Actually I had the same problem last night and again this morning. I noticed that FireFox sent out an update. I updated FF and now things work again.
The alt address
http://66.147.239.150/~hitconn/qoou/ worked when the regular
http://www.qoou.com address did not at least to view the forums but I still couldn't post. Same thing happened I logged in, but when it tried to process the login, it came back with "can't find
http://www.qoou.com" When I returned a few moments later it showed that I had logged in but I still couldn't post. Weird stuff I tell ya.
So if pinkybandit can read this and uses FF maybe she should update also. So hopefully this was a Firefox issue.

All is back to borked. At least I can post, but can't logon to check PM. Neither addy works.

Whoever PM'd me, I'm not ignoring it, just can't log on to see it...
**Edit**
Ok I can get to my PM *only if* I post, edit, or reply to a msg. Then I'm informed of unread PM and the link will go through.
