if you havent heard yet the guy he shot had a mild heart attack

leaves the question of if this guy dies will cheney be charged with manslaughter??? (though it dosent even matter seeing that this administration has gotten away with everything so far

I don't think he will be will be convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Although he admitted it was his fault as he, "was the one who pulled the trigger," he could still argue that Whittington wasn't following proper hunting protocol by announcing his position to the group.

However, I'm not big into law, so I can't really say.

I wish they'd taken his blood alcohol level. We know that Cheney had *at least* one beer before the incident. Drunk + guns = bad idea.

Here's some food for thought...

I wonder how much different the media's reaction would have been if it had been the other way around. (Whittington shoots Cheney) The heart attack aspect of it would have been no big deal, because that guy has already had like 50.
