hey guys ive been noticing that the qoou server isnt exactly populated lately, so i thought that maybe we could make a few teams consisting of the members of this site, put them into a bracket, and have a grand tournament

oh yeah and well need a date that every1 will agree on. Labor Day? :D

We had a lot of people on last night. It was fun. :D

If you haven't, add us on MSN and Xfire, and we'll let you know when we're about to have a party on the server.

A labor day tournament sounds like fun though. And if we can't get the tournament organized, there's always fragfests. :toast:

i took the initiative and made a rough sketch of wut the teams should look like (maybe)

here they r:

TEAM 1:

TEAM 3:

i tried 2 make all the teams balanced by sorting all the players into groups of 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, and 5/5 (no1 was 1/5 or 0/5 luckily :biggrin: )

team 3=fucked for now since im still lookin 4 a player :?

if any1 has any objections 2 the teams or want in on the tournament then im me on {qoou}.com, msn messenger, or aim (all can be found in my profile)

some1 plz set up a tournament system (i.e. ladder tournament or brackets) and SK says we need a pug bot so some1 plz take care of that

since the teams r all 4 members each, a server admin should lower the max player amount to 8 so no1 barges in on our game.

once the tournament is over ill personally send a cash prize of $200 million to the winning team. :D

JK!!!

well just have a fragfest after the tournament.

some ppl r askin bout time so i guess we should have a few practice matches first, starting at 12:00pm (noon u idiots) in CENTRAL TIME ZONE. so heres a list of times 4 US:

PACIFIC TIME ZONE: 10:00 AM
MOUNTAIN TIME: 11:00 AM
EASTERN TIME ZONE: 1:00 PM

if u dunno wut time zone u live in, find out, or go here:

the actual tournament will start AN HOUR LATER!!!!1!!111!!! so b ready!

for foreign countries, i guess ull have 2 find out urself or just keep checking the server. :D

I think that had to do with the high-resolution textures that some people had installed. From what I understand it was a client side problem, it happened on any server - not just qoou, and people who removed the textures no longer had any problems with this.
