Ping Issues.

I wanted to throw around the idea of moving the server to a new data center somewhere else in the nation. I have been getting some complaints and some of our own members cant even play cause the connection is so horrid

Currently the server is located in chicago, illinois. There is a massive internet hub there that handles about 1/6th of traffic coming in and out of the US. So, I recommend we move the server to New York, pings for the west will pretty much be the same i would think, also it may help some of our canadian players with routing issues, and as for our euro friends i think it would really help thier pings as well. Plz post any comments or concerns as to why i shouldnt do this, otherwise im doing it this coming week.

I recommend we move the server to texas so it's even for us western people. Special Kare tries to ping rape enough as it is.

Well I'd say Texas too, but I suppose that's less fair for the Euro folk.

Maybe we should complain to GameServers and see what they have to say about it.

Do what you got to do SK! My ping will probably go up a little bit not big deal if you move it to New York. Id like to comment though about the EUROS though...like they give a

about us american pings if it was vice versa!

I second this. Euros are fucking assholes when it comes to US ping. If anything we should set the minimum ping for Euros to be 250ms.
